Built Around the Pin
The takedown pin is the heart of the AR-1. Its spring-biased detent mechanism delivers a crisp, tactile snap every time you open and close it.

Want to make it yours? The AR-1 chassis is built to exact tolerances, allowing you to easily swap in any off-the-shelf mil-spec pin for ultimate customization.
Note: The included pin, detent, and spring were designed to be unusable in a real receiver, which allows the AR-1 carabiner to be shipped and carried worldwide (including California).
Leverage-Assisted Bottle Opener
Precision-milled cutouts grip standard bottle caps, while the extended captive pin provides additional leverage to make opening a bottle effortless.

4140 Stainless Steel - $39.99
Machined from 4140 stainless steel and finished with a durable Black Nitride treatment for excellent wear and corrosion resistance. Built for everyday abuse while maintaining smooth, satisfying pin action. The AR-1 logo and lettering are engraved directly into the metal for a clean, permanent finish.
Titanium DLC - $79.99
Our premium version uses Grade 5 titanium to dramatically reduce weight while maintaining the strength and durability you expect from the AR-1. A DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish adds a sleek black look as well as excellent wear resistance. The AR-1 logo and lettering are laser etched which appears white, creating a crisp contrast against the black DLC finish.
